Tackle Box

It’s been two months since Willa Goettling and I opened our studio, Tackle Box. It took a lot of work to prepare it for August’s First Thursday, and we were met with a warm welcome from friends, family, and art walkers. Since then I’ve made some updates to the space, which make it so I can print with the press and on the wall (how I print the large pieces). It’s feeling really good, and I’m getting into the studio more than ever before and creating at a clip that is exciting and very generative.

We’ll be open this month for Pioneer Square's First Thursday Art Walk (this Thursday, Oct 3rd, 6 - 8 pm). I’ll have some older pieces for sale and some works in progress up on the walls.

Tackle Box is located at 312 S. Washington St., Studio B (down the hallway from Shift and Lynn Hanson Gallery).
